About Me

If you are acquainted with this blog, then it is probably evident by now that I am not your ordinary conveyor of information, ideals and personal opinions.  The world is a virtual repository of knowledge, insanities, principles and contradictions, and what I hope you find each time you read a post of mine, is my honest (though sometimes critical) observation of the world at large.

This blog originally began as a way in which for me to gradually return to writing; a passion and pastime that due to “real life” fell by the wayside and was somewhat neglected over the years.  Now, after nearly a decade of service in both the public and private sectors in a financial capacity, it has been my goal to recapture the pure, yet invigorating feelings that have never ceased to rouse my creativity when I’ve have the opportunity to apply pen to paper (or in this case, fingers to keys).

As a wife, mother, businesswoman, entrepreneur, daughter, sister and sister-friend, I strive daily to maintain the ever delicate balance that is work/life. In between, there is The Fanny Pack.  My platform with The Pack is sometimes over-the-top, a little preachy, often times dramatic and regularly unapologetically “extra”, but I can assure you that each and every day that I write, I am giving you the very best of me.  It is my sincere hope that you enjoy reading The Fanny Pack as much as I enjoy bringing it to life.

I’m Packing Up,

Tiffany, who knew that along with all you do that you obviously also belong to that rare breed called writers? Those who use words to give us experiences no other medium can. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but you writers know one word evokes a thousand images. I envy those, like you, who can put to pen exactly what they feel. Those who allow their inspiration to catch them up and sweep them along in a river unknown to most of us. What a ride that must be! You wordsmiths have power to strap us earth dwellers in and take us where we’ve never been. Before we know it, as we read your words we find ourselves seeing stars through your eyes and feeling deeply your emotions. Tiffany, you’ve got a way with words. “Have your way!”

Just stopping by – as I enjoyed your comment on my bucket-30 list! It’s a good fun way of capturing your goals and there is nothin better than crossing something off of a list! Plus when you publish it for the world – it allows folks to hold you accountable.

You’ve got an enjoyable blog – I’ll be checking it out!

Tiff, it’s been awhile. Glad to see that you are doing great in spite of “real life”. That happens to us all, some embrase it better than some. You won’t believe how life has changed for me over the years because of “real life”. Things are great! Give me a shout sometime, in the same place, just not doing the same thing.
